Designed for vessels permanently slow steaming, we optimizes the MC-C and MC engine performance resulting in longer TBO’s, lower fuel consumption, lower emissions etc.
By optimization the engine, the camshaft timing will be adjusted and the following can be expected.

The optimization can be made in port stay or at anchorage with crew assistance and will typically take 1-2 days on a 6 cyl. MC-C engine. The optimization does not require any spares.
The optimization can be made in port stay or at anchorage with crew assistance and will typically take 3-4 days on a 6 cyl. MC engine as the camshaft bottom trays must be removed and a necessary modification of the existing fuel pump VIT system must be made.
Due to the automatic influence from the original VIT system, it must be disconnected from the engine (not removed) and replaced with our own supplied retrofit. Our product is 100% mechanical, a onetime low investment and very simple to operate.
The original system can be re-activated in app. 2 hours without stopping the engine.

The following sea trail after the optimization will also include balancing of the max. pressures etc.
Re-setting the cams to their original position can be made in a one day as all positions are clearly marked. This does not require any following sea trail.
